Steven Yamin

Steven Yamin received his BA from Olivet College, in Michigan and his MFA from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.  He has taught at Pratt Graphics Center, NY; the New York City Community College, NY; Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, NY; and Bronx Community College, Bronx, NY. 

He has received awards from the Library of Congress, Washington, DC;  Oklahoma Art Center, Oklahoma City, OK; the National Academy of Art, New York, NY; and New Jersey State Museum, Newark, NJ. Yamin is a member, and past president, of the Society of American Graphic Artists (SAGA), The Print Consortium, and the Southern Graphics Council. His work has been in over 20 solo and group exhibitions throughout the USA.

Yamin has work in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress, Washington, DC; New York Public Library, New York, NY; Portland Art Museum, Portland, ME; Newark Public Library, Newark, NJ; Victoria & Albert Museum, London, England; Proutes of Paris, Paris, France; Philadelphia Museum, Philadelphia, PA; and others.
