DESCRIPTION: Howard Cook was commissioned by North American Lloyd in 1930 to make a drawing or a woodcut to be reproduced on the company's calendar. However, it was too late in the year to meet the printing deadline for the 1931 calendar, so the commission was completed in April 1931 and the wood engraving was reproduced on the 1932 calendar.
ADDITIONAL INFO: Signed in pencil, inscribed "imp." and "Happy times from Bettina and her husband from Howard and Barbara. Talpa, N.M. June 10, 1959."
CONDITION: Very good condition.
