Aaron Bohrod was an American painter and printmaker born in Chicago, Illinois. He studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Art Students League of New York. He won two Guggenheim fellowships, once in 1936 and again in 1937. He was well known as an American Regionalist in his early career. Later in life, he became better known for his Trompe-l'oeil paintings.
