Keith Shaw Williams

1905 - 1951

Keith Shaw Williams was an American printmaker, painter and watercolorist. He studied at the National Academy of Design and the Academie Collorassi in Paris, where he learned from the likes of Daniel Garber, Ivan G. Olinsky and Charles Hawthorne. In 1939 he was elected an Associate at the National Academy of Design and became a full Academician a few years later in 1942. He was also a member of the Salmagundi Club, Society of American Etchers, American Watercolor Society, Chicago Society of Etchers, and the Allied Artists of America.
