Mayumi Oda

Mayumi Oda is a Japanese artist and Zen Buddhist. Her parents encouraged creativity and supported her on her journey to become an artist. She is greatly inspired by the strength and beauty of women and encompasses this element in her depictions of female deities from around the world.

Oda has been featured in more than 50 solo exhibitions around the world and is known as the "Matisse of Japan."
