Alexis-Hubert Jaillot was a French cartographer and map publisher from the 17th century. He inherited a map publication firm from his father in-law and when Nicolas Sanson, one of France's premier cartographers, died, Jaillot worked out a deal with his heirs to re-publish his work. Many of the plates were re-engraved in a larger format and contained modern updates.
