Roland H. Clark

1874-1957

Roland Clark was an American artist, author and outdoorsman, born in New Rochelle, New York. He was taught how to hunt at a young boy, which spurred an artistic passion for creating etchings of waterfowl and other aquatic birds. His work was well received during his lifetime and in 1938 he was commissioned to make the Federal Duck Stamp design.
