Allen Vogel studied at the Philadelphia College of Art during the mid-1950’s and received an MA from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1997. He has taught many workshops in the USA and abroad. He has taught at Parson's/New School, NY, NY; Wizo Neri Bloomfield College of Art and Design in Haifa, Israel, and is presently on the faculty at Rochester Institute of Technology. Using a View Camera and the Fresson process of making prints Vogel has created an 'Interior Still Life Series.'
His work has been exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art in New York; Brooklyn Museum, NY; University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA; Galerie Homage, Amsterdam, Holland; Wilson Arts Center, Rochester, NY; Garrison Arts Center, Garrison, NY; Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, TX among others.
