Was born in Quincy, Illinois and studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Art Students League. She is known as an American illustrator and portrait painter. She started her career as an illustrator during WWI doing posters to support the war effort. She also traveled across France entertaining troops.
As an illustrator her work was shown in McClure’s, McCalls, The Saturday Evening Post and Collier’s.
