Will Simmons

William Simmons was born in Spain and is considered the most accomplished wildlife artist of the early twentieth century. He was sent to America to study at Harvard, but left to study art at the Julian Academy in Paris. In Paris he also met and befriended John Marin and learned the craft of etching. He created a little over 250 original etchings.
