Doris Kreindler was an American abstract expressionist born in Passaic, New Jersey. She studied at the Art Students League, the National Academy of Design and the New York School of Applied Design for Women.
The Brooklyn Museum featured her in her first solo exhibition in 1935.
Her work can be found in the Museum of Modern Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Fogg Museum of Art, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, Rose Art Museum, Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
