Dan Sayre Groesbeck

Dan Sayre Groesbeck was an American painter, printmaker, illustrator, muralist and cinematographic artist, born in California. His illustrations were published in various newspapers and magazines around the country, including Harper's and The Century. During the 1920s he painted murals in Monterey and Santa Barbara, California. In the 1930s and 40s he worked in the film industry, producing backdrops and sets and promotional illustrations.
