Johann Martin Will

Johann Martin Will, Augsburg, Germany founded a publishing house for copper plate engravings. the focus of his publishing activities were images relating to cultural history (e.g. costumes and children's games), commercial graphics (e.g. cut-out sheets, religious devotional images), portrait engravings, caricatures and historical depictions. Amongst these historical depictions are a series of portraits of important personages fighting in the American Revolutionary War.
