Giovanni Domenico Campiglia (1692–1768) was an accomplished Italian painter and engraver from Florence, known for his refined portraits and historical compositions. He received his early artistic training under Tommaso Redi and Lorenzo del Moro, later advancing his studies in Bologna with Giovanni Gioseffo dal Sole. Campiglia spent much of his career between Florence and Rome, where he earned recognition for both his paintings and engravings.
