1885-1962
He was born in Kansas City, Missouri and lived in New York City from 1910 on. He was a noted printmaker, architect, and draftsman. During the 1920’s and 1930’ he worked primarily on etchings, producing a fine body of work. He was involved with many Brooklyn Society of Etchers exhibitions during the 1920’s and served on the board with John Taylor Arms and Ernest Roth. The Great Depression changed many things, unfortunately for the etching world Chester B. Price applied his talents to Architecture for the remainder of his life.
