• DESCRIPTION: Unsigned. - The Old Print Shop, Inc. represents the estate of Emilio Sanchez. <BR><BR> Manhattanhenge, or the Manhattan Solstice, is due to the grid system, with the Avenues aligned North and South and the streets aligned East and West. Twice a year, on the Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice, the sunset and sunrise align with the streets for a spectacular view. Emilio Sanchez captures this in a series of vertical drawings and paintings, in this case, Sunset, with the cars disappearing in the shadows, represented only by their headlights.

• ADDITIONAL INFO: Framed in 1" wood molding painted black, archival mat and back. Finished with UV Plexiglas.
