Octavo, (9 x 7 inches) with 2 pull-out pages to 9 x 21 inches. Sewn binding, soft cover by James DiMarcantonio. <BR><BR> From the colophon:<BR> "This book has been designed, illustrated and printed by John Ross as part of a collaborative venture with John Van Sickle, who is the translator and commentator of Della Casa'a poem. The text type is Janson, set on the Linotype by Kent LeFebvre of Signs Plus in Holyoke, Massachusetts and printed at the High Tide Workshop in East Hampton, New York. The collagraph plates were made in Venice, Italy in the summer of 1996. All the letterpress work was done on a Vandercook 219 proof press. The paper is Fabriano Artistico, French folded for the larger prints. Binding cloth from Talas in New York City was preprinted by Ross from collagraph plates and sewn and assembled by James Di Marcantonio at the Hope bindery in Providence, Rhode Island.
