The portraits are surrounded by flags of foreign nations.

Wilson’s record as President was mixed. He passed the Federal Reserve Act creating the Federal Reserve System, The Federal Trade Commission outlawing unfair methods of competition, and the Clayton Antitrust Act to strengthen the Sherman Antitrust Act and prevent anti-competitive practices. He championed laws prohibiting child labor and limiting the work day for railroad workers to eight hours. He also backed the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution. The Eighteenth Amendment outlawed most consumption of alcohol in the United States, and the Nineteenth Amendment gave women the vote.

Wilson had his part in conflicts, and his invasion of Mexico to hunt for Pancho Villa almost caused a full scale war between the United States and Mexico. World War I. however. beckoned and General Pershing was pulled from Mexico and sent to Europe.
