Tree is identified as the Papaw Tree, Porcelia Triloba.As is a number of the very first plates there are variant states. This is the final or fourth state. The first two are engraved by Lizars alone. The last two are noted as being "Retouched by R. Havell, Junr." Havell added aquatint to the Lizars plates.
