Francesco Pollastri, Head of the Geographical Office of the Central Statistics Institute of the Kingdom of Italy.

Eng. Pollastri - with painstaking work - intended to make the public and scholars known, in a simple and concise way, the territory of the Kingdom of Albania in its physical, demographic and economic aspects. Each table is enriched with statistical tables, drawings and very accurate territorial subdivisions.

The Atlas consists of 10 plates, each of which has a specific purpose: chorography, orography, hydrography, geology and mines, climate, density of population and dwellings, routes and means of communication, Agriculture and forests - Surfaces; Agricultural and livestock production; Education, Assistance, Justice, Banks.

The set is seemingly quite rare, likely due to the fact that early in 1939 Italy was involved in World War II and distribution was likely very limited.
