  • DESCRIPTION: A fine map showing the details of Lake Champlain taken from "The American Military Pocket Atlas." There is an inset in the lower right corner of "A Particular Plan of Lake George." Notes pertaining to observations and structures appear by both lakes. The Revolutionary War battle of Valcour Island is noted. This is the second state of the map, now showing the movement of the British and American fleets and the battle of Crown Point.
