• DESCRIPTION: This map shows the whole of Long Island, from Manhattan to Orient and Montauk Points. Including Fishers Island. Identifies all the major roads, long before the LIE. Numerous ferries to and from Connecticut are identified including some passenger ferries that long longer operate. They are: New Rochelle to Sea Cliff, Rye Beach to Sea Cliff, Greenwich to Bayville, Stamford to Oyster Bay, and New London to Ford Pond Bay. Small oval vignettes depict various activities, including steeple chase, polo, canoeing, tennis, sailing, and surf fishing.
