DESCRIPTION: A humorous handkerchief or bandanna map of North America featuring prominently the Lone Star state of Texas, drawn on a scale of one inch to six Texas Grapefruits.<br><br> Texas is shown filling most of the land area of the United States and Mexico with the other states shrinking to insignificance. Throughout the map and outer borders are small illustrations of historical and humorous interest. Included is an image of the Alamo, the San Jacinto monument, Pecos Bill & Widowmaker, "the man that couldn’t be throw’d and the horse that couldn’t be rode.” the Jumpin'est Jackrabbits, Orneriest Rattlesnakes and Most Cantankerous Coyotes. <br><br> The cartographer for this map, Mark Storm (1911-2002) was an artist and sculptor who was born in Alaska and later moved to Texas.
