• DESCRIPTION: A. Brooks, sculp. A simplified version of Moll's North Pole map, first issued in the 1729 edition of his "Atlas Minor." This map lacks the text panels appearing in the lower panels, although it contains all the notations on the map itself. The map includes the northern areas of Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Scandinavia and Russia, but not Northwest America. Moll's name is misspelled as "Mooll".
