• DESCRIPTION: A scarce separately issued folio map of eastern North America shown at the beginning of the Revolutionary War. Shows the various Colonies and gives many of the tribal natives names. Interspersed with the map are descriptive text panels in French and an inset of the Atlantic Ocean showing the routes to America from various European ports. Cartographically the map is based on the cartography of Thomas Jefferys. 1st state.
