DESCRIPTION: This edition was printed in 1973 eleven years after Martin Lewis' passing. Kennedy Galleries arranged the publication after the successful 1972 exhibition of the artist's etchings and drypoints. The proposed edition was 100, to be printed in two groups of 50. The first 50 never sold out therefore the additional 50 were never printed. The plate is currently in the Detroit Institute of Art.
ADDITIONAL INFO: Inscribed with the artist's name and initialed "13/100" and "L.D.L. 1973." (Lucile Deming Lewis, the artist's wife).
