In the foreground, two men are shown shoveling sediment into a Long Tom capped with a sluice box, while another man scoops up the remainder and deposits it into a rocker. Behind them, another trio work hard rock with pickaxes and a high-pressure water hose. A small mining camp can be seen in the distance.<br><br> There's gold in "dem thar hills".<br>
