DESCRIPTION: A nice example of Mitchells map of the Territory of Wyoming, one of the first separately issued maps of Wyoming to appear in a commercial atlas. The map shows eight original territorial counties and notes many tribal reservations, forts, rivers, mountain ranges, etc. Yellowstone National Park, which is shown. This map appeared in Mitchell's New General Atlas.
