Each of the 26 text sections begins w/linocut reproduction of an ills. initial w/beginning letter of each section done in hand calligraphy by Betse Curtis, who provided a full alphabet on the colophon page, which is signed and numbered by the artist, w/26 original wood engravings in each chapter. One of 50 deluxe copies with an extra suite of 26 wood engravings signed and numbered by the artist, 4to., 1/4 red morocco w/gilt stamped spine, ivory linen bds., extra suite in ivory linen portfolio, housed in morocco and linen clamshell box, binding by Gray Parrot.
