• DESCRIPTION: Revised by A. B. Drake, C.E. Plates 138 and 139 from a Massachusetts Atlas. In the lower left hand corner this map's reprintings are chronicled from 1891 through 1909. The ochre outlines indicate ward boundaries. The Walker Co. was formed in 1880 by George Hiram Walker and his brother Oscar. They were very prolific, publishing maps, atlases and bird's eye views of New England locales. The Walkers were the last of Boston's important lithographers.
