Cage terms his written poem a "mesostic." Ellot Weinberger completes the triad with his own mesostic on Paz and Cage.<br><br> John Cage handwrote his poem for this book which was then reproduced from the original manuscript by photo offset. The Spanish text is printed on the letterpress and the handwritten English text by the artist is reproduced with offset.
