Eby probably saw this landscape on his travels in Great Britain, because the title appears in the New York Public Library typed list among the prints based on his trip abroad during 1924 and 1925. Eby sometimes misspelled place names in titles, so Killan Pass may depict a landscape near Killin, a town surrounded by mountains on Loch Tay in Scotland." - Giardina
