DESCRIPTION: A fine map of Mexico covering a area from just north of Mazatlan to Acapulco and from Tehuacan to the Sierra Madres. A very ornate and highly decorative map, with fabulous armorial title cartouche, sailing ships and compass rose. In the lower "key" cartouche two cherubs are shown watching and reaching for the tail of an Armadillo.
