DESCRIPTION: A fine map of the Namur Province in south Belgium. Ortelius is the best known for producing the atlas, "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, or Atlas of the whole world". The atlas was immensely popular and was produced for over forty years. Ortelius relied on the cartographic work of Jacques Surhon.

CONDITION: Fair to good condition Narrow side margins with some very minor occasional losses of outer neatline. Some splitting along upper and lower centerfolds. Short tear in lower left. Original hand coloring.
