  • DESCRIPTION: Decorative large format map of The U.S. with an inset map of the west entitled "Oregon Northern California &c." The map is taken at one of the most historically and geographically interesting periods in American history. Oregon Territory, California, Utah and New Mexico dominate in the west. A large Minnesota territory is shown as well as a massive Nebraska Territory. Each State and Territory is individually handcolored. A smaller inset map above New York State shows "Rail Road & Canal Routes from Albany to Buffalo."

  • CONDITION: Good condition, save for small hole in upper central portion of image just inside the neat line. Hairline lower right margins due to binding.
