Publisher : In 1931 Weyhe Galleries published an edition of their catalogue "The Checkerboard" on Howard Cook. They would use small wood cuts to illustrate the catalogue and this wood block was printed on the back cover. All the prints in the catalogue were unsigned, printing size of Checkerboard was 5000.
