  • DESCRIPTION: In the background is the Singer Building. Construction was started in 1906 and completed in 1908. The Singer Building was the largest building in the world at the time of its construction. It was demolished in 1970 to make way for One Liberty Plaza, which is home to the Nasdaq Stock Market. This is the area where the World Trade Centers would be built 60 years later. There is an elevated station visible in the lower foreground. <br><br>

  • CONDITION: Very good edition, drawn on two sheets of paper that were joined in order to make room for the flag pole on the top of the Singer building.
