DESCRIPTION: Berenice Abbott took three images of the intersection of the Second and Third Avenue Els at Division Street and the Bowery. The intersection is just north of Chatham Square. Of the three images this noted as #3 was the one she chose. It is a dramatic image that is reminiscent of the great lithographs published in the late 1920's and early 1930's.

CONDITION: Good condition, minor chips in the emulsion at the outer edges.
