DESCRIPTION: A detailed map of the Spanish Provinces of Asturias, Castile and Léon, Notes many cities and towns including Oviedo, León, Santander and Valladolid, Surrounding the title cartouche are two Lions holding up a crest. This map was issued in Blaeu's "Le Theatre du Monde, Nouvel Atlas, Mis en lumiere par Guillaume & Jean Blaeu."
ADDITIONAL INFO: This impression published in c.1688 by Abraham Wolfgang of Amsterdam and appeared in his "Atlas Minor" which is a compilation of maps originally issued by Blaeu, de Wit, Visscher and others.
CONDITION: Good condition save for some minor soiling in the margins and some creasing along centerfold and right corner. Original hand color with gold leaf highlighting.
