Three page hand written letter to J. H. Bender Alden Galleries, Kansas City Mo. (also publisher of the Print Collectors Quaterly), dated April 26 - 40. Letter starts off "I like the idea very much. I enclose an article from Esquire and one from Life which may help you with the biographical sketch. I am not a prolific artist. My reputation is based on a very small output (commencing in 1932) of about two dozen paintings and murals and 'etchings and drawints.' I enclose a complete list of my etchings with amount of prints still avilable...." Signed in ink. 20th Century Subjects
