Letter begins "I have this week while in Rome, received your letter which has been forwarded from Australia...." Signed in ink. Notes on letter by Mary Bender in pencil, "Member Australian P.E.S. don't know how he ranks. Not familiar with his work. No negotiations have take place with Australian agents. M.B." Artist name also written in pensil by Mary Bencer.
