Publisher : Title and date penciled in lower right, inscribed "Notes- Lots of texture in foreground ramp. None in shafts of cols., as these are polished marble. Lots of texture in masonry above arch." This drawing came directly from the Estate of John Taylor Arms. Being transfer drawings means these drawings were used to create the copper plate that printed the etching. As any object that is used in this fashion, they often have a differing variety of condition issues.
