DESCRIPTION: A fine small engraved view of the walled city of Antwerp. On two sides is a German text description of the city and key. Gabriel Bodenehr the Elder (c. 1664-1758) was a Swiss artist who worked in Augsburg. He created many topographical views and plans of European and North African cities. Many were gathered under the overall title Le Gloire et la Force de l'Europe.

CONDITION: Good condition save for one rust stain in the upper portion of the image. Black & white.
