George C. Wales

Goodspeed's of Boston exhibited Wales prints and handled the sales. They were greatly admired and successful as evidenced by the fact that in 1927 Goodspeed's published a catalogue raisonne, Etchings & Lithographs by George C. Wales by Captain Ernest Pentecost. Wales was a frequent contributor to "Yachting Magazine", and was co-illustrator of "The History of American Sailing Ships" by Howard Chapelle.
