Wuanita Smith

Wanita Smith was born in Philadelphia and is well known as a painter and printmaker.  She studies at the Philadelphia School of Design for Women, The Pennsylvania Academy fo the Fine Arts, the Art Students League in New York City and with Howard Pile at the Drexel Institute and the printmaker Allen Lewis.  She remained active painting and traveling into her nineties.
