• DESCRIPTION: This scarce 19th-century lithograph showcases the traditional dress of the Gorals, who are from southern Poland, northern Slovakia, and the region of Cieszyn Silesia in Czechia. It also shows the traditional dress of the Polish who live in the mountains. This print features original hand-coloring and it is taken from "Opowiadanie O Ubiorach, Zwyczajach I Obyczajach," published in Cracow in 1863.
