  • DESCRIPTION: Copper engraving by Lucas Vorsterman (1595-1675) of Peter de Jode the Elder. After famed painter Antony Van Dyck (1599-1641), often called "the Flemish Raphael." Both Van Dyck and Vorsterman were apprentices to and colleagues of Peter Paul Rubens. Later both worked in London at the English court. <br><br> The brother-in-law of Peter Brueghel, the senior de Jode (1570-1634) was a master engraver and artist in Antwerp.
