  • DESCRIPTION: The view includes a general view of the two towns on the Yuba River. A numbered key identifies fifty-six prominent businesses, landmarks and public buildings. The main view is surrounded by eighteen views of prominent businesses and public buildings including Marysville winery and college “Notre Dame” located at the corner of 8 & C Streets. In the two lower corners of the view are two inset maps. One is a map of northern California showing the location of the county. The other is a map of Yuba County. Sutter City is shown in the distance. Below the title is a promotional narrative extolling the virtues of Yuba and Sutter County’s. A scarce view.
