In the title line is an excerpt from the Shakespearean play "King John", act IV, scene IV, reading, "I saw a smith stand with his hammer, thus, / The whilst his iron did on the anvil cool, / With open mouth swallowing a taylor's news."

CONDITION: Fair condition with overall toning. Two marginal tears, one enters the image by 3/8".and soft creasing in the upper image area.
