Between 1827 and 1838, the Mirror issued over forty engravings documenting New York City’s changing landscape. This plate depicts the original Gothic Revival church at the corner of Broadway and Houston Street, showcasing the twin towers and pointed arches designed by the firm of Geer and Riley with Davis's influence. Printed by G. & J. Neale, it remains an important record of early 19th-century Manhattan architecture.
